NETWORK OF NATIONAL CONTACT POINTS FOR SMEs
European network of National Contact Points for Small and Medium Enterprises was initiated from the beginning for Central Europe countries in framework of international ACT CLEAN project, and then extended on countries of Baltic Sea Region in framework of SPIN project. The network creates platform for exchange know-how related demand on environmental technologies and tools and supply of the technologies and their promotion. Now the network consists of 13th National Contact Points organised in 8th Central Europe countries and additionally in 5th Baltic Sea Region countries as it is presented on bellow map.
The network of National Contact Points cooperate with enterprises, associations of enterprises, ministries responsible for environmental protection and economy, regional and local governments, R&D, existing networks and others organisations
Structure of the network of National Contact Points for SMEs
Enterprises, in particular Small and Medium and other organizations that intend to promote own technological and other environmental achievements or being interested in results of ACT CLEAN and SPIN projects are invited to join to our free of charge network and to help SMEs access to environmentally friendly technologies, tools and know-how related Cleaner Production and sustainable production by:
- free access to ACT CLEAN and SPIN data bases of technologies by enter to Eco-technologies section,
- pointing out barriers caused by existing or lacking instruments (European of national) - legal, financial, managerial for adaptation of SME to present and future requirements of EU directives playing crucial role for development,
- imparting information related demand for environmentally friendly technologies and know-how,
- imparting information related existing environmentally friendly technologies and know-how,
- participation in workshops, conferences, consultations organized or co-organized by Central Mining Institute and Partners of NCP network,
- promotion of existing achievements by links to author's website available on NCP website,
- other activities coherent with objectives of the network and supporting innovation
