Welcome to home page of the National Contact Point for Eco-efficient Technologies and Management Systems

National Contact Point for Eco-efficient Technologies and Management Systems in Poland is one of 13th National Contact Points (NCP) organised at the beginning in 8th Central Europe countries in framework of international project ACT CLEAN and granted by CENTRAL EUROPE PROGRAMME and then in 5th Baltic Sea countres in framework of international project SPIN being granted by Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013.
NCPs in Poland and Germany cover Central Europe and Baltic Sea countries.

The network aims in promoting environmentally friendly technologies and activities in order to ensure eco-efficient production process and sustainable production through innovation in Small and Medium Enterprisers (SMEs). On national plane ACT CLEAN and SPIN networking NCPs, enterprisers, associations of SMEs or supporting development of SMEs, regional and local governments, agencies for regional development, funding organizations and R&D.

Realisation of ACT CLEAN and SPIN in Poland is coherent with Environmental Technologies Action Plan (ETAP) being coordinated by Ministry of Environment. Polish Ministry of Environment supported realization of ACT CLEAN and creation of National Contact Point for Eco-efficient Technologies and Management Systems in Central Mining Institute in Katowice and then by Ministry of Economy that approved access of Central Mining Institute to SPIN project.
